Telehealth consent

Last updated October 5, 2026

Draft for legal review. This page outlines LovCura’s intended policies in plain language and must be finalized by counsel before launch.

What telehealth is

Telehealth means receiving care from a clinician using video, messaging or other technology instead of an in-person visit.

Benefits and limits

Telehealth can make care faster and more convenient. It also has limits: your clinician cannot perform a physical exam, and in some cases may recommend in-person care.

Your rights

You may decline telehealth and seek in-person care at any time. You can ask questions about your treatment before consenting to it.

Privacy and security

Telehealth sessions and messages are handled through secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.

Emergencies

Telehealth is not for emergencies. Call 911 if you think you are having a medical emergency.
